I chose to study accounting because my father is an accountant. I had the opportunity to take college-level accounting classes while I was in high school. Quickly, I realized that accounting was a strong fit for my analytical mindset. Additionally, the ability to apply an accounting skillset to a wide variety of careers drew me to study accounting.

While at Miami, I was involved in Management & Leadership club and also worked as a student auditor for the university. I was also inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma.

I had an audit internship with Deloitte this past summer and will start in Deloitte’s Cincinnati office full-time this fall. I would like to pursue a career in mergers & acquisitions in the future.
