In August 2021, I graduated magna cum laude from the University of TN - Chattanooga (UTC) with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. During my undergraduate journey, I managed to learn a great deal about accounting, while building good relationships with my peers and professors. I participated in extracurricular activities including IMA and NABA, served as the Vice President and Treasurer of my sorority, and as an accounting tutor. Further, I was an intern at Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in the areas of risk & performance assurance and financial operations & performance. I was fortunate to receive a PCAOB Scholarship in 2020.
Because of my passion for learning, strong interest in accounting, and great experiences, I decided to continue pursuing my education in accounting. Currently, I am graduate student in the Master of Accountancy program at UTC. I have an anticipated graduation date of December 2022. I am also studying for the CPA Exam and have sat for one section. Additionally, I am employed full-time at TVA where I serve as a regulatory analyst for local power companies located in Chattanooga and neighboring areas.
