William & Mary

Madison Lee was called to accounting by a desire to turn talk into real implemented change in her communities. Being involved in political advocacy early in life, she wanted to find a way to turn innovative ideas into practical plans, most importantly how to pay for them and how to persuade others to buy-in. She found these skills when she took an accounting class in high school and has been on track to become a CPA ever since. She completed her undergraduate degree in accounting in three years at William & Mary and moved into their one year Master of Accounting program right after. Her aspiration has become to use her quantitative skills to help make ESG programs comparable and desirable for companies to implement. She will be starting her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the fall. In the last couple of weeks in school, she is savoring her time as a part of Residence Life and getting in a few more rides with the equestrian club.
