Lydia Rezie
Cleveland State University
Lydia graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a joint BA/MA in 2002. She began her career in investment banking at JP Morgan in Chicago, and upon returning to Cleveland, she joined KeyBanc Capital Markets. Lydia transitioned to equity research in 2008, working as a supervisory analyst at various firms, including Cleveland-based Longbow Research and New York-based Cantor Fitzgerald. The issue that came to interest her most was the impact of management’s decisions – including accounting policies, estimates, and judgments – on a company’s financial statements and therefore its valuation. Accordingly, Lydia decided refocus her career on accounting and was pleased to be accepted into the MAcc program at Cleveland State University. She expects to graduate in May 2022.
