I took on the challenge to pursue an accounting degree after my first introductory accounting course in college. My professor, a passionate CPA, had such a great impact on me, that I decided to take a second accounting course with him. Before I knew it, what was supposed to be an elective course, became my major. As a first-generation college student and the youngest of five siblings, I am motivated to break the pattern of small thinking, and open doors for generations to come. I want to be the first, but not the last in my family to earn a college degree.
