Texas A&M University
After growing up in a family surrounded by business majors, I knew that I wanted to become an accountant from a very young age. The accounting profession seemed to offer a great deal of growth and intellectual opportunities, and it most aligned with what I was interested in within the business world. After getting into the Business Honors Program and with the knowledge that they had a fantastic Professional Program in Accounting, I chose to attend Texas A&M University to pursue my degree.
During my time at A&M, I double majored in Business Honors and Accounting, and then was accepted into the PPA Program and chose the Audit Track for my Masters. I was involved in a sorority, Pi Beta Phi, as well as International Business Association, of which I held multiple leadership positions in both. I interned three times within the Assurance practice for PwC over the years 2020-2022, and I was offered and accepted a full-time offer with PwC in the Houston office. Following graduation in December 2022, I will study and sit for my CPA exam and then start working full-time in the Summer/Fall of 2023.
