I graduated high school in 2012. After gaining several years of work experience, I decided to return to college in 2016 to pursue a general business degree while simultaneously working 20-25 hours per week for AT&T, my current employer.
Eventually, I took my first accounting course and had multiple conversations with my professor about the opportunities an accounting major would provide. I decided to do my own research as well, which consequently led to my pursuit of an accounting degree and CPA certification.
In addition to working for AT&T, I completed an audit internship with KPMG in the Spring of 2021; this led me to accept a position with the firm, and I plan to begin work in the Fall of 2022.
