Marshall University

I chose to pursue an accounting degree because I enjoyed math and working with data. Additionally, I liked the versatility that an accounting degree would offer. During my tenure at Marshall, I've been a member of Alpha Sigma Phi and Beta Alpha Psi. Both organizations have helped prepare me for my future career in accounting. My time as Treasurer in Alpha Sigma Phi helped improve my communication skills, while my time in Beta Alpha Psi brought me career opportunities and professional growth.  Currently, I'm working as a tax intern at Baker Tilly, and I hope to use all of the knowledge I've gained over the past few years to obtain a CPA license after I graduate from my MS program.
