I always knew I had an interest in working with numbers and decided to select accounting as my major after having conversations with my Aunt. She is a financial controller for Chevron in the Bay Area. She explained to me how rewarding and well-respected the profession is and the various opportunities for advancement.

I will be starting as a Tax Consultant in the Business Tax Services group at Deloitte in their Los Angeles office in January of 2023. I will begin sitting for the CPA exam this summer with plans to finish in December along with my Macc degree. I envision myself becoming a Financial Analyst at Google after gaining skills and experience at Deloitte.
