My first class as a freshman at Baylor was financial accounting. Prior to taking that class, I had a very limited understanding of accounting. By the end of the course, it was evident that I enjoyed accounting and wanted to pursue it further. Since then, my passion for accounting has grown through the incredible professors and courses within Baylor’s accounting department.
During my time at Baylor, I have served as a Community Leader in a residence hall and led with Baylor Cru. More recently, I have served in the children’s ministry at my church and led as a member of Steering Committee for Student Foundation.
This spring, I will graduate from Baylor University with undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Marketing and a Master of Accountancy with a certificate in Data and Analytics. Following graduation, I will continue studying to become a CPA and begin working as an Assurance Staff at Ernst & Young.
