Thomas M. Schaffer
George Mason University
I wanted to major in accounting after my elective in high school because I knew it was something I could be good at and I could apply that knowledge in many different careers and aspects of my life. Growing up I have always been an avid golfer and played for four years at Randolph-Macon College, while being a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. During my undergraduate education, I have had a few accounting internships with RSM, Dodson Property Management, and Sicom Systems, INC. After graduation, I will be starting as an assurance associate at the RSM Richmond Office in pursuance of my CPA. I know George Mason has provided me with the necessary tools for the next chapter in my life.
