Accounting was always an interest of mine even before college. After taking my first principles of accounting course at Marquette, I knew it was the right fit for me. The material just seemed to click for me, and I had an incredible professor who really inspired me to pursue accounting. Throughout my undergraduate career I was a member of Marquette’s Beta Alpha Psi chapter where I served as the Chair of Tutoring for a full year. In addition, I am also a current member of Beta Gamma Sigma and a graduate assistant to Marquette’s accounting department.

Currently, I am completing my master’s program at Marquette with plans to graduate in May 2021. I am also working towards obtaining my CPA license. In spring of 2020 I completed a tax internship with BDO Milwaukee and will be starting full-time there as a tax associate in October 2021. I am looking forward to having a career in public accounting with hopes of one day starting my own practice. I have a particular interest in doing partnership and small-business returns and one day hope to provide those services to my own community.
