I entered college as an accounting major, not knowing exactly what I wanted to major in but thinking that accounting might be a good fit. As I progressed throughout college, my decision to pursue accounting was affirmed through classes I really enjoyed and the School of Accountancy providing me with so many opportunities. While at Auburn, I was involved in several organizations, including Student Recruiters and Peer Career Advisors. I was also awarded the PCAOB Scholarship, the Martin Fellowship in Auburn’s MAcc program, and I was selected as the Graduation Marshal for the Harbert College of Business. As for accounting involvement, I attended several Summer Leadership Programs for various accounting firms in different cities, and ultimately committed to an audit internship with PwC in Nashville, TN. I had the most wonderful experience and learned so much through this internship that when PwC offered me a full-time position I didn’t hesitate to accept. I will graduate from Auburn’s MAcc program this May, and I’m looking forward to starting full-time as an audit associate for PwC in Nashville!
