I would be lying if I didn’t admit that my love for math is what motivated me to pursue an accounting degree. I quickly learned that accounting is much more than just math, but my continuing curiosity of how a firm really functions has held my interest ever since. In taking a non-traditional path through college I have maintained a full-time job as a manager (in addition to an internship) with a CFO that has taught me the importance of communication and time-management. Additionally, while at Boise state, I participated as a Beta Alpha Psi member which served as a great tool as I pursued a career within the Accounting field. In the Spring of 2020, I was fortunate enough to work as an Audit Intern with KPMG and I am excited to start as a full-time associate this Fall at the Boise office. It has been a great ride so far and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store!
