Bethany Kaufman

Gonzaga University

While earning her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University, Bethany Kaufman discovered her passion for management by serving as the student general manager of her college radio station, WRUW-FM 91.1 Cleveland. The analytical thinking and problem-solving skills she learned through science translated perfectly to business, and after graduation she launched her career in operations, ultimately working in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Through these experiences, Bethany developed an interest in accounting and technology. She decided to earn a Master of Accountancy degree at Gonzaga University in pursuit of intellectual rigor and a specialized skillset to advance her career. She is a member of Gonzaga’s Beta Alpha Psi chapter, and she received the PCAOB scholarship, Washington Society of CPAs scholarship, and Daniel G Brajcich scholarship. She accepted a technology consulting associate position with PwC for summer 2022, and she hopes to use her technology and accounting experience to serve non-profit organizations in the future.
